We are seeking part-time, seasonal Customer Service Associates to join our team for the upcoming season. As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences, managing our point-of-sale systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our Ticket Booth and Gift Shop. - *Key Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:
- Greeting guests in a friendly and polite manner, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
- Learning about the animals within our facility and our general operation to answer common guest questions and provide expert insights
- Managing the point-of-sale system in both the Ticket Booth and Gift Shop, handling money and processing credit cards with accuracy and proper recordkeeping
- Acting as a Zoo liaison during animal encounters and other on-site events, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests
- Basic inventory management, including tracking and maintaining stock levels
- Ensuring guests are following all Zoo rules and regulations, promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all
- Demonstrating problem-solving skills, thinking critically to resolve guest concerns and issues
- Possessing a high level of verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and management
- Being punctual and reliable, with a strong commitment to meeting deadlines and schedules
- Working a variety of shifts, including weekends, to ensure our guests receive exceptional service throughout the day
- *Essential Qualifications**
• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required; we are looking for individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
