Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Parts & Inventory Customer Support Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for dealership service departments and the client’s customer breakdown department. Your day-to-day work will include:

  • Multi-Channel Customer Engagement: Interact professionally with customers via telephone, email, live chat, and scripted dialogue tools to address a wide range of inquiries related to parts, inventory, orders, damage claims, products, and services.
  • Order and Account Management: Log all customer interactions accurately, update account records in real time, and maintain detailed case notes to ensure seamless continuity across multiple touchpoints.
  • Case Tracking and Repair Coordination: Manage complex cases from initiation through resolution, tracking the many interactions required for specific repairs, part replacements, and warranty claims.
  • Technical Product Support: Apply your interpersonal skills and growing technical product knowledge to respond to daily customer-centric activities, helping customers navigate part identification, availability, compatibility, and installation questions.
  • Issue Escalation: Recognize when inquiries require specialized expertise and escalate them appropriately to product support, billing, sales, orders, or return/repair claim teams.
  • Proactive Outreach: At higher levels, conduct outbound calls to follow up on submitted questions, confirm resolution, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Downtime Reduction: Strive to deliver timely, accurate solutions through inbound and outbound conversations — including phone calls, chats, emails, and other communications — while maintaining a positive, upbeat, and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on product updates, inventory changes, and process improvements through ongoing remote training provided by arenaflex.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Education and Experience (one of the following):
    • Bachelor’s degree and two or more years of customer service experience and/or technical product knowledge
    • Master’s degree in lieu of experience
    • Four or more years of customer service experience and/or technical product knowledge along with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Schedule Reliability: Ability to work scheduled shifts within the center’s hours of operation:
    • Monday through Friday (no weekends required)
    • 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time
    • Consistent adherence to assigned schedule, as some queues are time-sensitive
  • Remote Work Setup:
    • Must be a Michigan resident
    • High-speed internet access at home, connected via Ethernet or landline
    • A secluded, distraction-free work environment conducive to professional customer interactions
