Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a meticulous Remote Data Entry Assistant to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will be the guardian of our critical information assets, ensuring that every piece of data entered into our systems is accurate, up‑to‑date, and readily accessible for analysis and decision‑making. Key Responsibilities

  • Enter alphabetical and numerical data from a variety of source documents, verifying each entry against the original source to guarantee 99.9% accuracy.
  • Maintain and organize department files, both digital and physical, ensuring that records are easy to locate and securely stored.
  • Compose and type routine correspondence emails, internal memos, and customer communications with a professional tone.
  • Copy, scan, and archive records as needed, adhering to arenaflex’s data retention policies.
  • Answer department phones, process inbound calls, forward messages, and provide courteous assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Enter new and updated orders, as well as quotes, into the order management system, confirming that all details are correct before final submission.
  • Maintain order files, ensuring that closed order files are archived in accordance with company procedures.
  • Verify purchase orders for accuracy, cross‑checking quantities, pricing, and vendor information.
  • Assist with the creation and upkeep of customer files, supporting the sales and support teams as required.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the data manager or department lead, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in business administration, information management, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience: Prior experience in an administrative or data entry role, preferably within a remote or distributed team environment.
