Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Financial Planning Systems to join our Finance & IT partnership team on a part‑time, remote basis. This role sits at the intersection of finance and technology, supporting and enhancing our Hyperion and Essbase ecosystem to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable financial data for the entire arenaflex enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize the Hyperion planning application for both forecast and actual financials, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
• Validate data loads from Hyperion Financial Management and external regulatory feeds, troubleshooting discrepancies and ensuring compliance.
• Investigate and resolve data issues, including inter‑company eliminations, division roll‑ups, and currency conversions.
• Provide ongoing system maintenance, applying patches, updates, and configuration changes in line with governance policies.
• Support end‑users with system‑related queries, report generation, model adjustments, and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with finance business partners to gather requirements, design solutions, and present recommendations that drive automation and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain Essbase cubes, planning applications, reports, and budgeting models for finance divisions.
• Lead month‑end headcount processes within Hyperion, coordinating data changes with the General Ledger and regulatory teams.
• Participate in the creation of end‑to‑end test scenarios and logical validation testing for complex financial initiatives and regulatory investigations.
• Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and knowledge‑base articles to support a self‑service culture.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance role, with hands‑on exposure to financial statements, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong technical foundation, including experience with Hyperion, Essbase, and multi‑dimensional data models.
