[Remote] Head of Growth (In an ambitious Amazon agency)

The role involves leading new business strategy, driving revenue, and influencing the future of the business at board level.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the agency’s new business revenue targets
- Lead and develop high-performing sales and marketing teams
- Set objectives, track progress, and coach teams to success
- Oversee thought leadership, events, webinars, and reputation-building initiatives
- Shape and co-own the agency’s marketing strategy alongside leadership
- Maintain accurate forecasting and sales reporting at all times
- Ensure CRM data, pipelines, and deal stages remain fully up to date
- Improve and document the sales process with clear KPIs and accountability
- Communicate new business performance and updates across the wider agency
- Influence wider agency strategy based on customer insight and market trends
- Lead pricing conversations and shape commercial strategy
- Recommend improvements across delivery, costing, and agency processes
- Maintain deep understanding of customer pain points and market developments
- Keep the agency informed on Amazon trends, competitor activity, and opportunities
- Guide and support outreach activity across the sales team
- Build strategic plans around high-value target accounts
- Drive thought leadership and outbound activity with senior stakeholders
- Set benchmarks and metrics for sales performance and conversion rates
- Lead discovery calls and qualification processes with prospects
- Run high-level commercial conversations confidently
- Orchestrate pitches and proposals across the agency
- Ensure proposals are commercially strong, strategically sound, and delivered to a high standard
- Negotiate terms and commercial agreements with prospects
- Coach and support agency teams involved in the sales process
Skills
- Proven experience in a senior growth, commercial, or sales leadership role
- Background within a digital, ecommerce, or marketing agency
- Strong track record of delivering revenue growth strategies
- Experience leading and developing commercial teams
- Strong understanding of B2B acquisition, lead generation, and go-to-market strategy
- Commercially astute with strong financial and forecasting ability
- Confident using data to drive decision-making and performance
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
- Experience within Amazon, marketplaces, or ecommerce ecosystems
- Exposure to scaling agencies or high-growth businesses
- Experience operating at Senior Leadership or Board level
