[Remote] Analyst, Consumer Insights & AI
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GoodQues is a fast-growing consumer insights firm that combines creative research design with human-centered thinking. They are seeking an Analyst, Consumer Insights & AI to leverage AI tools for analyzing consumer data and generating insights, while collaborating with team members to improve project workflows.
Responsibilities
- Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, LLM-based tools) to accelerate theme extraction, clustering, and insight generation across qualitative and quantitative datasets
- Build lightweight analytical outputs using HTML, interactive insight pages that make findings easier for teams and clients to explore
- Create and maintain reusable “analysis modules” (e.g., prompt chains, templates, scripts, or workflows) that standardize how GoodQues processes recurring data types like trackers, open-ends, or segmentation outputs
- Develop collaborative, AI-supported project assets that multiple team members can interact with (e.g., shared insight hubs, live-updating summaries, or structured AI synthesis documents)
- Experiment with building internal AI agents or GPT-based tools that support recurring tasks such as coding open-ended responses, generating toplines, or summarizing datasets
- Partner with researchers and strategists to embed AI into live project workflows, not as a backend tool, but as part of how insight is actively created and shared
- Pressure-test and validate AI outputs to ensure accuracy, logic, and narrative integrity before anything reaches a client
- Clean, structure, and analyze quantitative datasets in Excel (and occasionally Google Sheets or BI tools)
- Run descriptive analysis, cross-tabs, and basic statistical outputs
- Support segmentation, tracking studies, and pricing or concept testing projects
- Visualize data in clear, client-ready formats (charts, tables, simple dashboards)
- Partner with research leads, strategists, and designers to bring projects to life
- Support proposal or pitch analysis when needed (quick-turn insights, data pulls, competitive scans)
- Continuously improve how we use AI across projects, you’ll be expected to experiment, not just execute
Skills
- 3–5 years of experience in an analytical role (market research, consulting, insights, analytics, business analytics, or similar)
- Strong Excel skills (must be comfortable with pivots, lookups, cleaning messy datasets, and basic modeling)
- Genuine fluency with AI tools, not just 'use them to ask questions,' but actively using them to speed up thinking, writing, coding, and analysis
- Comfort working with both structured (survey, sales, tracking) and unstructured (open-end text, transcripts, forums) data
- Strong analytical intuition, you don't just compute outputs, you question them
- Clear communication skills, you can explain what the data means, not just what it shows
- A bias toward building and improving systems rather than doing one-off analysis
Benefits
- Competitive salary
- Fully remote with flexibility to work in the way that makes you most effective
- Travel 1–2x per quarter to industry conferences and client events
- A front-row seat to a growing, founder-led company with a real culture of doing things differently
- Direct access to and mentorship from experienced co-founders who are invested in your success
