[Remote] Account Manager Direct Sales

Manpower is a leading manufacturer of modular mechanical, electrical, and HVAC solutions, seeking a high-energy, relationship-driven Regional Sales Manager to spearhead growth across the Eastern United States. This role involves consultative selling and building long-term strategic partnerships with engineering firms, contractors, and end-users for complex infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Territory Development: Own and grow the East Coast region by identifying new business opportunities and nurturing an existing book of business
- Consultative Sales: Manage a 9–18 month sales cycle, working closely with customers from initial project layouts and budgeting through design-assist and project fulfillment
- Relationship Management: Build deep trust with technical reps, general contractors, and manufacturing end-users; you aren't just selling a product, you’re selling a partnership
- Regional Presence: Spend significant time on the road (approx. 75%) conducting on-site presentations, facility visits, and attending industry networking events
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our internal estimating and operations teams to bridge the gap between customer needs and manufactured solutions
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales, regional sales, or account management
- Proven track record in industrial, mechanical, or electrical infrastructure markets
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
- Ability to manage complex, long-term sales cycles with high-value contracts
- Background in mechanical or electrical industries (HVAC, modular construction, power, or industrial manufacturing)
- Manufacturer's rep background or technical industrial sales experience
