[Remote] Volunteer: Social Media and Storytelling Strategy Development

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. COHAP Outreach Corporation is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering marginalized communities. They are seeking a volunteer social media content writer to develop a storytelling strategy that increases engagement and awareness of their programs.

Responsibilities

• Craft compelling narratives that highlight our mission, programs, and impact
• Develop content that encourages interaction, builds trust, and strengthens our online community
• Help us reach more individuals in need, potential donors, and community partners by creating shareable and impactful posts
• Ensure that veterans, formerly incarcerated individuals, domestic violence survivors, and aged-out foster care young adults know about the resources available to them
• Inspire more donors, volunteers, and partners to join us in our mission
• Foster a supportive online space where people can connect, learn, and take action
• Improve our social media content to directly increase program participation, volunteer engagement, and donation levels
• Collaborate with our marketing and communications team to provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout the project
