[Remote] Account Executive

Principle Business Enterprises (PBE) is dedicated to improving lives through high-quality products and compassionate care in the homecare market. They are seeking an Account Executive to manage a defined book of business, identify new opportunities, and deliver consistent revenue growth across an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Identify new sales opportunities and execute action plans to achieve territory revenue goals
- Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts, ensuring retention and year-over-year growth
- Generate and qualify leads through outreach, research, and aligned sales-cycle activities
- Build long-term customer relationships by providing regular communication, problem-solving, and value-driven support
- Conduct semi-annual business reviews with customers to assess results and align on upcoming goals
- Implement company sales programs and product initiatives within assigned accounts
- Maintain accurate and useful account information within CRM systems and internal databases
- Partner with internal teams—including customer service, marketing, and graphics—to deliver coordinated support, campaigns, and solutions for customers
- Work closely with the Territory Manager to support the overall territory strategy and ensure consistent engagement across accounts
- Respond to customer and management inquiries, analyze business constraints, and recommend corrective or improvement actions
- Keep leadership informed of account activity, opportunities, risks, and key trends through timely reporting
- Contribute to cross-functional projects, process improvements, and new program development
- Represent and model PBE’s core values of customer focus, continuous improvement, teamwork, commitment, engagement, growth and development, and excellence
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills
- At least two years of sales experience, including lead generation, cold-calling, and managing a sales cycle
- Proven success closing accounts through inside sales techniques
- Demonstrated ability to grow accounts using structured account management approaches
- Strong administrative and customer service skills with high attention to detail
- Intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 20%
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in sales or related fields
