[Remote] Data Analyst

Helix Electric is seeking a curious and detail-oriented Data Analyst who enjoys turning data into meaningful insights that help drive better business decisions. In this role, you will work closely with teams across the organization to understand challenges, identify opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations that create real impact.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple sources
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support business goals
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within large datasets
- Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and reporting requirements
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance updates
- Support data quality initiatives by identifying inconsistencies and recommending improvements
- Assist in designing and implementing data models and analytical frameworks
- Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field
- Proven experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation techniques
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Python or R is a plus
