[Remote] Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. FX Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional for the role of Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. This position involves supporting corporate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis, while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and preparing financial information for stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the accounting, analysis, and ongoing monitoring of corporate investments and strategic initiatives
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, management reports, and supporting analyses
- Contribute to annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities
- Research and document technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP
- Assist with the preparation of external financial disclosures and regulatory reporting requirements
- Maintain supporting documentation for internal controls, audits, and compliance activities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate transactions and business initiatives
- Participate in process improvement projects and financial systems enhancements
- Perform additional accounting and finance projects as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 2–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting concepts
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Public accounting experience preferred
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus
- Experience with ERP systems, consolidation software, or financial reporting tools preferred
