Field Service Technician (Remote in Cincinnati, OH)

Your work directly enhances the client experience, strengthens long-term‑ relationships, and keeps essential mailing and shipping operations running smoothly across a diverse customer base. You will enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday schedule aligned with traditional business hours, with overtime opportunities available. We offer a competitive wage range of $22 – $25 per hour, based on experience and location. In addition, this role includes a 10% incentive on any service or parts sales you present to clients—giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings through your expertise and client rapport. You can become eligible for a company car after 6 months of employment (based on availability). This is a remote, field-based‑ role with your primary service area located within 2 hours of Cincinnati, Ohio. Your clients in your territory are mainly focused in the following areas: Downtown, Bridgetown, White Oak, Finneytown, Reading, Forest Park, Union, Deerfield, Four Bridges in Ohio. Occasional travel outside this radius may be required. No relocation assistance offered. You will be supporting clients who rely on Pitney Bowes technology to keep their operations running efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and hands-on‑ technical work while interacting directly with customers. What You will Do In this role, you will combine technical skills, customer service, and independent problem-solving‑ to support our full suite of mailing and shipping technologies—from Inserters to Smart Lockers. You will: Manage a multi zip‑ ‑code territory within 2 hours of Cincinnati, Ohio, with up to 80% driving time. Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues to reduce downtime and callbacks. Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping & Mailing equipment, ensuring clients are fully trained and confident in their use. Use hand tools and small power tools to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment. You will thrive in this role if you: Enjoy working with and repairing mechanical or electrical components. Are comfortable with significant driving time and working independently in the field. Are you motivated by the opportunity to earn additional income through service and parts sales. Can lift 55+ lbs. and bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended periods. Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Are familiar with Windows, PCs, and basic networking (preferred) Have experience with automated or electro‑mechanical equipment (preferred) Sponsorship: Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
