Data Entry Specialist (Part-Time Remote | Mon, Tues, Fri)
Job title Data Entry Specialist (Part-Time Remote | Mon, Tues, Fri) The Data Entry Specialist position is responsible for performing manual entry and verification of field level data and possible categorization of data. For this role, training is conducted onsite, then you will be released for remote work. Current shifts are 5 to 8 hours on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Duties and Responsibilities Compares data entered with source documents, or reenters data in verification format on screen to detect errors. Enters alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into computer following format displayed on screen and enters necessary codes. Audit customer data for accuracy; make necessary adjustments Perform or assist with other duties and projects as needed. Comply with HIPAA guidelines as outlined in the RMS HIPAA Security Identify, analyze, and report data issues related to uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, and completeness of source documents. Provide analytical governance skills to maintain successful productivity for the team. Compliance Policy Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Quality: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, look for ways to improve and promote quality. Type 50 WPM 10-Key Experience Enthusiastic, dependable, self-motivated Work well under pressure as part of a team Education/Experience A high school diploma or GED required.
