Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the friendly face that greets every shopper, assists with product selection, and ensures smooth, accurate transactions. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will blend direct customer interaction, merchandising, and operational support, all aimed at delivering an exceptional shopping journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Greet each guest with a warm, approachable demeanor, answer product‑related questions, and provide personalized recommendations.
  • Merchandise Assistance: Help customers locate items, suggest complementary products, and guide them through the store layout for an efficient shopping experience.
  • Transaction Management: Accurately process sales using the POS system, handle cash, credit, and digital payments, and ensure receipts are correctly issued.
  • Store Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked sales floor by regularly restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring aisles remain clear.
  • Receiving & Stockroom Operations: Unload deliveries from trucks, verify shipment contents, organize stockroom inventory, and transport merchandise to the sales floor.
  • Safety & Security: Remain vigilant of customer activity, report suspicious behavior, and uphold store safety protocols to protect both guests and teammates.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow associates, supervisors, and management to meet daily sales targets and uphold store standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in training sessions, share feedback, and adopt best practices that enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks assigned by management that contribute to a profitable and efficient store operation.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions, interpret retail policies, and apply them consistently.
  • Prior experience in retail, hospitality, food service, grocery, or pharmacy environments is advantageous.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 lb regularly (occasional lifts up to 55 lb) and perform repetitive motions such as standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Flexible availability to work full‑time schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
