The Role: Chief Maker of Live Help Games at arenaflex

As the Chief Maker of Live Help Games at arenaflex, you will oversee the production and operational health of our wide-ranging inventory of live titles. Our production team focuses relentlessly on the "how" and the "when," working hand in hand with our Product Managers who own the "what" and the "why." Together, you will build a world-class live service catalog that engages millions of members across the globe, supporting everything from games that need only occasional updates to fully live, continuously operating titles requiring real-time monitoring, content drops, seasonal events, and complex operational choreography.

You will directly coach, mentor, and lead a team of talented Live Makers who serve as the trusted primary contacts for our external development partners and internal collaborators. • Portfolio Production Strategy: Own the overarching Live Service production strategy across our entire portfolio, including the pipelines, processes, and operational frameworks that empower Live Makers to serve players, developers, and partners with excellence.
• Strategic Initiative Leadership: Identify, design, and lead high-impact strategic initiatives across the portfolio to ensure our team and our development partners have the goals, tools, systems, and priorities required to thrive in live service games.
• Complex Problem Resolution: Help resolve escalated, complex product issues through creativity, innovation, resourcefulness, and any other means necessary to deliver results on time and on quality.
• Risk Identification and Barrier Removal: Proactively identify risks early and often, removing obstacles and performance bottlenecks before they impact game health or partner relationships.
• Business Development Partnership: Work directly with business development on developer evaluations and deliver production-related feedback to ensure developers are set up for success before contracts are signed and development begins.

• Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Operate effectively across disciplines, including design, engineering, analytics, marketing, player support, and quality assurance, ensuring every function is moving in lockstep.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as the Live Service Executive Producer at arenaflex, you will need a strong foundation of relevant experience, including:

• Production Leadership Experience: Prior experience as a Lead Producer, Executive Producer, or Live Service Operations Director at a game developer or publisher.
• People Management: Three or more years of experience managing and developing direct reports.
• Game Production Background: Three or more years of experience in game production with a track record of shipping multiple games across social, free-to-play, mobile, web, console, and handheld platforms.
• Live Service Expertise: Deep knowledge of live service production, including the common challenges live teams face and proven solutions tailored to their needs.
• Complex Project Delivery: Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects with on-time delivery of quality and design, while expertly balancing scope, capacity, budget, risk, and schedule.
• Strategic Planning: Experience in strategic planning and execution, specifically with post-launch and live services experience in gaming (console, PC, or mobile) preferred.
