Role Overview

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the front line of our brand, providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers via phone, chat, and email. You will help shoppers select the perfect product for their pet, troubleshoot issues, and ensure every interaction ends with a satisfied smile.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers who contact arenaflex for a wide range of topics, from selecting a new pet’s first toy to resolving order discrepancies.
  • Research, diagnose, and resolve customer inquiries quickly and accurately, using critical thinking and proactive follow‑up to guarantee resolution.
  • Demonstrate active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness in every conversation, building trust with both customers and internal teammates.
  • Collaborate with peers, managers, and cross‑functional teams through virtual tools such as Zoom, Slack, and video conferencing to share insights and improve processes.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in a high‑volume, remote, or call‑center environment.
  • Fluency in both Canadian French (Québécois) and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask—maintaining a phone conversation while navigating multiple screens, taking notes, and accessing knowledge bases.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including rapid data entry, web navigation, and familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in communication, hospitality, or related fields are a plus.
  • Proven track record of handling confidential information securely and responsibly.
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting schedules, including occasional overtime, to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet all legal employment requirements.

Technical Requirements

  • Dedicated home workspace free from background noise, with sufficient room for a computer, monitor(s), and webcam.
  • Reliable wired high‑speed internet (minimum 30 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload). Candidates must be able to verify speed using a reputable testing tool.
  • arenaflex will provide a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam. You must supply a stable internet connection and a mobile device capable of two‑factor authentication via Okta Verify.
