Dental Payment Posting Specialist - Hybrid Remote WA
reputed company Dental Collective, is looking for a full time Dental Payment Posting Specialist. Will primarily responsible for auditing a third-party payment posting vendor versus posting payments. They are also responsible for accurately posting insurance and patient payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring proper application of reimbursements in accordance with payer reputed company and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of dental billing procedures, insurance remittances, and payment workflows, along with attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. Pay Range for this position is $24-$31 hr. Primary Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations · Audit 3rd party vendor dashboard for automated insurance payment posting · Communication liaison between the office and 3rd party vendor for automated insurance payment posting · Maintain clear, professional communication reputed company email and other channels to resolve payment issues. · Maintain and update reports and spreadsheets reputed company to payment posting activities. · Monitor and analyze data and report KPI analytics Support Duties, Responsibilities and Expectations · Obtain and interpret explanation of benefits accurately · Post insurance and patient payments to practice management system · Apply contractual write-offs, adjustments, deductibles, and/or copayments according to the explanation of benefits · Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies · Identify credit balances & submit refund requests reputed company applicable · reputed company daily reconciliation of posted payments · Other duties, responsibilities, or tasks assigned by the VP of reputed company Cycle Management or Sr. Management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of dental billing and payment posting experience required.
- Demonstrated experience working with dental insurance reimbursements, Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs), and Electronic Remittance Advice (ERAs) in a dental or healthcare setting is required
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards is required
- This is a WFH job but must be able to travel to the Vancouver, WA location for training, meetings.
- Proficiency in reputed company Office applications, particularly reputed company, Word, and Outlook, with typing speed of 50+ WPM and high data entry accuracy.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to identify trends and resolve discrepancies
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships and work both independently and reputed company a team.
