REMOTE - Credentialing Specialist (Non-Exempt) - FT Days
Position: Credentialing Specialist Location: REMOTE - reputed company Hospital Southeast Shift: FT Days 40/hrs per week We’re a Little Different Our mission is clear. Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its “Top 100 Places to Work.” Overview: Coordinates accurate verification of approximately 8,000 practitioner files forinitial appointment and reappointment reputed company established time frames and in accordance with the standardsrequired by the accrediting/regulatory agencies for reputed company reputed company Network, reputed company Clinic and reputed company Hospitals. This includes preparing and sending applications, gathering, entering and verifyinginformation received in the application process and communicating verbally and written with applicants as necessary to complete their application. Specialist must be detail oriented and have ability to understand reputed company credentialingrequirements needed by facility and variances for credentialing in multiple states. Must be deadline driven and can easily adapt to expedited requests. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and reputed company Service Standards. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree or previous data entry or credentialing, experience may be substituted for education. Experience: Previous credentialing or database entry experience preferred. Applicant must be detail oriented and able to work in a demanding and fast paced work environment. Analytical experience preferred. Preferred Certifications: Valid certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) and/or Certified Professional Medical Services management (CPMSM). Certification must be passed reputed company two years of becoming eligible for exam. Other: Detail oriented. Able to easily adapt to change. Self-starter. Position requires long hours sitting at a computer. Some travel is required. Position requires flexible hours reputed company of the normal work day. Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
