Senior Environmental Project Manager – Pipeline (LA)

position summary Merjent, Inc. (Merjent) has exciting opportunities for Senior Project Managers with demonstrated success in the oil and gas industry. The successful candidates will join our existing Pipeline Sector working with clients to manage project teams for infrastructure projects in the oil and gas industry (oil, products, and natural gas pipelines; etc.). Technical knowledge of federal (including FERC), state and local permitting processes is required. This position requires reputed company technical knowledge managing multi-component and sometimes reputed company projects that require federal, state, and local permitting of energy-reputed company projects. This is a remote work position; however, candidates must be based in the eastern US, with preference given to candidates located in North Carolina and surrounding states. The anticipated annual salary for this position is between $145,300 and $183,400 annually, depending upon qualifications and experience. These positions are also bonus eligible. why Merjent? • Serve as the Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for pipeline sector projects which may vary in size and complexity.
• Work with other Pipeline Sector Project Managers to build and collaboratively manage project teams.
• Effectively manage project budget, schedule and manage project risk through implementation of standard project management processes and tools.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
