IOP Social Worker-Telehealth

About the position Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Magnolia is seeking a therapist to join their growing team for their Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Magnolia, Mississippi. The Geriatric Psych IOP Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic services to patients enrolled in the Geriatric Intensive Outpatient Program. The Therapist conducts group, individual, and family therapy sessions, completes assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and ensures documentation complies with regulatory and facility standards. The role focuses on promoting the mental and emotional well-being of older adults through structured therapeutic interventions in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities

• Facilitate evidence-based group therapy sessions for geriatric patients, addressing mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, dementia-reputed company behaviors, and adjustment disorders.
• Provide individual and family counseling as indicated in the treatment plan.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment team planning.

• Document reputed company services provided in the electronic health record in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and payer requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or reputed company field required.
