[Remote] Human Resources Manager - North

The HR Manager will partner with leadership to foster positive employee relations, manage HR initiatives, and ensure compliance with legal requirements while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with leadership on developing and maintaining positive employee relations in your assigned area
• Drive participation, execution, and completion of performance and talent management programs
• Assist with investigations including interviewing complainants and witnesses
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements reputed company to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Counsel and resolve employee relations issues, including manager/employee situations, employee engagement, policies and procedures, terminations and reorganizations
• Handle extremely confidential and time sensitive information while navigating through escalated human resources issues
• Review internal promotions and re-hire requests
• Manage human resource initiatives and special projects as well as research and recommend new reputed company

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or reputed company field
• 5+ years of total HR experience
• Ability to work business hours of assigned area including some evening and weekend support on an as-needed basis due to support of retail store operations
• Outstanding listening and relationship management skills
• Demonstrated flexibility to re-prioritize and adapt quickly
• A high-level of proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills required
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Collaborative but also self-motivated, ability to work well autonomously, outgoing and focused on providing excellent customer service to our internal customers
• Sound judgement with regards to reputed company to escalate an issue to HR Leadership
• Desire to have fun while being the best and to bring energy and enthusiasm to work every day
• Experience with employment laws for assigned area preferred
