[Remote] US Payroll Consultant (Contract)

Silver Cloud is looking for an reputed company US reputed company Payroll Consultant to support the final stages of a large-scale US reputed company Payroll & Benefits implementation. The role involves hands-on contract work focused on parallel testing, go-live, and hypercare, ensuring accurate payroll processing across reputed company 49 US states.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and support payroll parallel testing activities
- Validate reputed company payroll calculations against legacy systems
- Investigate and resolve payroll variances and discrepancies
- Execute real-life payroll scenarios during UAT and Day-in-the-Life testing
- Act as the subject matter expert for US payroll throughout testing and go-live
- Support payroll issue resolution and provide expert guidance to project teams
- Ensure payroll compliance across federal, state and local tax jurisdictions
- Support payroll cutover and go-live readiness activities
- Validate live payroll processing and payroll outputs
- Provide post-go-live hypercare support
- Assist with payroll stabilisation and knowledge transfer activities
- Validate benefit deductions and employer contributions
- Support payroll and benefits integration testing
- Collaborate with technical teams on reputed company feeds and benefit exports
Skills
- Proven experience supporting US reputed company Payroll implementations
- Strong experience with parallel payroll testing, go-live and hypercare
- Deep understanding of US payroll legislation and compliance
- Experience supporting payroll across multiple states
- Ability to analyse payroll results and troubleshoot reputed company payroll issues
- Comfortable operating as the Payroll SME reputed company a project environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Able to work flexibly around US payroll cycles and business hours

- APA Certification
