Venture Capital Analyst

Role Description The Venture Capital Analyst is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting investment research and decision-making at C2C reputed company. In this role, you will reputed company and screen early-stage companies, especially ventures reputed company with education, youth employment, and digital innovation in Africa. You will conduct market research, build and maintain financial models, analyze startup business models, and prepare investment memos and presentations. The Analyst will assist in due diligence, including evaluating founding teams, traction, competitive landscapes, and potential risks. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, support portfolio monitoring and reporting, and contribute insights to thought leadership content on venture trends relevant to young African founders and professionals.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, synthesize research findings, and reputed company clear investment insights.
• Foundational knowledge of finance and investments, with exposure to venture capital, private equity, or startup ecosystems preferred.
• Experience or training in financial modeling, including building basic projections, valuation models, and scenario analyses.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for preparing investment memos, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated interest in African startups, innovation, and youth-focused impact initiatives.
• Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment, managing time and priorities across multiple projects.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a collaborative reputed company reputed company working with teams, partners, and founders.
