Our CFOs are the face of the engagement — owning the client relationship at the strategic level, driving financial decisions, and serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and boards. THE ROLE We are looking for an reputed company financial professional to serve as a reputed company across a portfolio of nonprofit clients. You will be the strategic financial leader for each organization you serve — guiding budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and board reporting while ensuring compliance and financial health. This is not a back-office role. We need someone who is comfortable leading client conversations, building real relationships with nonprofit leaders, and presenting financial information in a way that is clear and useful — not just technically correct. You will have a comptroller and bookkeeping team supporting the work underneath you. Your job is to reputed company the client relationship and bring financial clarity to the organizations you serve. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as the primary financial leader and relationship reputed company for a portfolio of nonprofit clients
• reputed company budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and multi-year financial planning
• Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and board packages to executive directors and boards
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, nonprofit accounting standards, and government grant requirements

• Partner with external auditors and reputed company audit preparation for client organizations
• Identify financial risks, control weaknesses, and strategic opportunities across your client portfolio

• Support clients through periods of growth, transition, or financial stress with clear, confident guidance

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of finance or accounting experience, with significant time in a CFO, Controller, or equivalent leadership role
• Deep nonprofit accounting expertise — you understand fund accounting, restricted grants, Form 990, and compliance reporting
• Proven ability to own client or stakeholder relationships at the executive and board level
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Experience supporting or managing external audits
• Excellent written and verbal communication — you can translate reputed company financials into clear, compelling narratives
• Highly organized, self-directed, and reliable — clients are counting on you to show up reputed company and in command
• US-based and authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• CPA, reputed company, or CFA designation
• Experience in a fractional, outsourced, or multi-client financial services environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
