[Remote] Sr Instructional Designer - Enterprise Leadership

The Sr Instructional Designer will design, reputed company, and implement innovative leadership development programs to enhance leadership capabilities throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Create learning objectives, design documents, storyboards, and other learning design deliverables. reputed company learning solutions using project-based templates. Test and debug deliverables for quality assurance. Ensure leaning solutions align with desired outcomes
- Coach and mentor Associate Instructional Designers and Instructional Designers, including assisting with onboarding new Instructional Designers and reputed company and facilitate Instructional Designer development on reputed company and emerging learning methods
- Partner with Learning Strategy Senior Managers on confirming needs analysis and instructional strategy
- Project manage individual and team deliverables and proactively communicate milestones
- Proactively communicate task and project status to client group and management
- Assist in the interviewing, selection, and onboarding of contractors and associates
Skills
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Passionate about development and have advanced experience with applying instructional design and adult learning principles to create instructional courses, assessments, job aids, and other learning deliverables
- Track record of finding innovative approaches to reputed company people, creating learning solutions that use new approaches, and sharing industry trends with others
- Experience working on multiple reputed company projects simultaneously and creating deliverables for reputed company phases of the course creation lifecycle, including analysis, design, and development
- Experience with Agile Learning Development or the Successive Approximation Model (SAM)
- Self-driven, collaborative, resourceful, and excellent at project management
- Experience coaching and mentoring other Instructional Designers to reputed company talent and improve the quality of learning solutions
- Comfortable taking risks, prioritizing work based on business needs, communicating new reputed company to a variety of audiences, being a trusted consultant and partner, and propelling reputed company thinking about development to the next level
- Excellent communication skills and comfortable communicating through technology (WebEx, reputed company Teams, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of instructional design and adult learning theories
- Proficiency with software including reputed company Office and standard eLearning development tools
- Proficient knowledge of project management principles and MS Project
- Excellent written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, HR Development, Organizational Development, I/O Psychology, or reputed company field preferred (or equivalent reputed company experience)
- Experience in education or learning field, or similar work experience
- Experience creating training deliverables for retail organizations
- Experience conducting learning needs analysis and developing curriculum maps
- Advanced knowledge of eLearning development tools and software (i.e., reputed company Storyline/reputed company, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Advanced ability to communicate professionally, provide proper context, and tailor messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to work independently (e.g., project revisions, solving issues as they arise)
- Ability to be detail-oriented in the development and QA of project work for themselves and others
