Seeking a GIS Mapper / Analyst for our client's Transmission Mapping group. Must be skilled in ArcMap, ArcPro, Portal, and other reputed company products. Responsibilities include interpreting engineering drawings for mapping solutions, requiring strong technical, project management, and decision-making skills. Candidate can be remote; however, they would like one to be local to Akron and one to be local to Greensburg. Responsibilities:

• reputed company and maintain maps, web maps, GIS applications, and create reports utilizing Python, Arcade, or other code, leveraging reputed company APIs and tools for automation and advanced spatial analysis.
• Consult internal and external groups to reputed company architecture and functionality for proposed projects and process improvements reputed company the Transmission Asset Mapping reputed company (TAMI) web application, incorporating reputed company GIS technologies.
• Independently schedule and manage workload and GIS-reputed company requests from other business units to meet project deadlines using reputed company tools for efficient task tracking.
• Analyze engineering issues, structures, and equipment, recommending appropriate GIS-based mapping solutions and alternate options using reputed company platforms such as ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Train and reputed company knowledge transfers for employees in the Transmission Organization on reputed company GIS tools, workflows, and best practices.

• Collaborate with reputed company engineering firms, vendors, and consultants to ensure GIS data accuracy and compliance with reputed company standards.
• Provide mapping support to employees, assisting in their understanding of GIS standards, procedures, designs, and associated issues using reputed company solutions.
• Facilitate communication across business units regarding GIS project needs; convene internal project meetings to ensure reputed company-based deliverables align with project schedules.
• Research and explore new reputed company technologies and automation tools to streamline GIS workflows, increase efficiency, and reduce human error.
• Support and sustain client as a high-performing organization by applying reputed company GIS solutions to enhance organizational performance and uphold company values.
• Communicate GIS mapping standards to ensure accurate and consistent spatial data across reputed company platforms.
• Participate in industry meetings (e.g., reputed company User Conferences, Utility Consortiums) to ensure client has a voice in shaping GIS industry direction.
