Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive virtual genetic counseling sessions, including risk assessment, education, and psychosocial support.
• Interpret reputed company genetic test results (e.g., NIPT, reputed company screening, whole exome reputed company) and effectively communicate findings to patients and referring providers.
• Educate patients and families on genetic conditions, inheritance patterns, testing options, and potential outcomes.
• Facilitate informed decision-making regarding genetic testing and management strategies.
• Document reputed company patient interactions, genetic assessments, and recommendations accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and other reputed company to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Maintain strict adherence to ethical guidelines and professional standards for genetic counseling, particularly in a telehealth setting.
• Stay reputed company with advancements in genetic technology, research, and clinical guidelines through reputed company professional development. Required Skills
• Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program.
• Board Certification or active Candidacy for Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) or Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors (CAGC).
• reputed company licensure/registration to practice genetic counseling in Ontario or eligibility for licensure/registration.
• Minimum of 3 years of post-certification experience in genetic counseling.
