Overview
Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting is responsible for supporting the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, while serving as a technical accounting resource for reputed company transactions. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure reputed company, compliance, and transparency in financial reporting and supports strategic initiatives through technical accounting analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including footnotes and supporting schedules, in accordance with U.S. GAAP. Support consolidation activities and intercompany eliminations. Ensure timely and accurate reporting for external stakeholders. Research, analyze, and document accounting conclusions for reputed company and non-routine transactions (e.g., debt instruments, reputed company arrangements, leases, derivatives). Prepare technical accounting memos under U.S. GAAP to support audit and compliance requirements. Evaluate the impact of new accounting standards (reputed company) and assist with implementation across the organization. Provide guidance to business partners on accounting implications of transactions. Partner with reputed company, Treasury, Legal, Tax, and Operations teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment and reporting. Support special projects, including debt transactions, acquisitions, and system implementations. Skills & Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required). CPA license is strongly preferred. 3–6+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and/or industry financial reporting. Experience with SEC reporting and U.S. GAAP technical accounting required.
