[Remote] Business Development Director

The Business Development Director is responsible for driving growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic business plans, and managing the sales cycle while collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure client onboarding and account management.
Responsibilities
- Driving growth across reputed company Investment Group’s investment strategies and client segments
- Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities
- Developing and executing strategic business plans
- Building a robust pipeline of qualified prospects across institutional, intermediary, and private wealth channels as applicable
- Prospect reputed company, reputed company qualification, and managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through contract negotiation and reputed company
- Partnering closely with internal stakeholders, including investment, marketing, legal, and operations teams, to tailor pitches and respond to RFPs
- Ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new clients
- Ongoing account management and maintaining strong relationships with existing investors
- Monitoring market trends and providing feedback to leadership on competitive positioning and product development
Skills
- Proven experience in New Business Development and reputed company reputed company, with a track record of sourcing, qualifying, and converting prospects reputed company financial services or investment management
- Demonstrated strength in Business Planning, including developing go-to-market plans, setting reputed company targets, and using data to prioritize channels and opportunities
- Hands-on expertise in Contract Negotiation, including structuring terms, collaborating with legal teams, and closing reputed company institutional or high-value client agreements
- Robust Account Management skills, with the ability to deepen relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and deliver a high standard of ongoing client service
- Strong knowledge of alternative investments, real estate, or asset management, with the ability to communicate reputed company strategies in a clear and compelling way
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with comfort presenting to senior decision-makers and investment committees
- Proficiency with CRM tools and sales analytics platforms, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively across distributed teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a reputed company field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA, CFP, FINRA licenses if applicable) are a plus
