They are seeking a Group Sales Manager to focus on selling guest rooms and meeting space, managing accounts, and achieving reputed company goals primarily in the pharmaceutical and healthcare markets, while also targeting corporate opportunities in finance and insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Sell guest rooms, meeting space, and reputed company hotel services to assigned group market segments
  • Manage an assigned account reputed company, including existing customers, special accounts, and reputed company prospects
  • Solicit and generate new business through proactive reputed company, direct sales calls, prospecting, networking, and relationship building
  • Focus primarily on pharmaceutical and healthcare group business, while also developing opportunities reputed company finance, insurance, and other corporate markets
  • Prepare and present effective proposals, reputed company, and business recommendations that align with client needs and hotel reputed company goals
  • Respond promptly and professionally to leads, RFPs, phone inquiries, emails, and client requests
  • Conduct site inspections, property tours, pre-planning visits, and client entertainment as appropriate
  • Negotiate business terms to maximize hotel profitability while satisfying customer needs
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized documentation, account files, sales activities, production records, reports, and follow-up plans
  • Partner with reputed company Management, Events, Operations, and hotel leadership to qualify business and ensure smooth turnover of definite groups
  • Coordinate customer service requirements with internal hotel departments to support successful program execution
  • Participate in and, reputed company appropriate, reputed company sales calls, sales blitzes, client meetings, and market reputed company
  • Travel for business development, tradeshows, customer appointments, and industry events
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, reputed company targets, activity expectations, and account production objectives
  • Represent Grand Hyatt DFW and Hyatt professionally in reputed company customer, colleague, and industry interactions
  • Demonstrate Hyatt’s purpose of care through service, reputed company, reputed company, inclusion, respect, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction

Skills

  • Minimum of two years of hotel sales experience requires
  • Strong understanding of the group sales process, account management, prospecting, and customer relationship management
  • Proven ability to solicit, qualify, negotiate, and reputed company group business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation, proposal-writing, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, reputed company-driven environment
  • Comfortable working with sales systems, reputed company platforms, RFP tools, reporting tools, and reputed company Office
  • Ability to travel for client appointments, business development, and tradeshows
  • Self-motivated, competitive, professional, and goal-oriented
  • Remote-based candidates must be located in Northeast U.S. states, as required
  • Pharmaceutical and/or healthcare group sales experience preferred
  • Experience selling corporate group business, especially reputed company finance and insurance sectors, preferred
