[Remote] Accounting Manager

Forrer Group, Inc. is a high growth technology company backed by venture capital, seeking to hire an Accounting Manager to reputed company general accounting operations at the corporate level. The role involves leading accounting operations, managing the accounting team, and implementing scalable accounting policies while leveraging technology to improve efficiency.
Responsibilities

- Manage and reputed company the accounting team, provide mentorship, build organizational capabilities, and help shape future hiring and team structure
- Approach challenges with a solutions-oriented reputed company, balancing strong financial controls with business needs and identifying ways to support growth without creating unnecessary barriers
- Design and implement scalable accounting policies, controls, and processes, while leveraging automation and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency and accuracy. Serve as a key champion for technology adoption across the finance function
- Communicate reputed company accounting concepts in a clear, accessible way, helping stakeholders understand the business impact behind the numbers
- Partner closely with reputed company, reputed company Operations, and cross functional leaders to provide financial insights that support strategic decision making
- reputed company high-impact initiatives, including ERP and billing system implementations, optimization of the company’s finance technology stack, and support for fundraising, investor diligence, and other strategic transactions
- Continuously evaluate team structure, workflows, and responsibilities as automation reduces manual tasks, enabling the organization to focus on higher-value analysis, judgment, and business partnership
Skills
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- A builder's reputed company with a passion for reputed company improvement, process optimization, and organizational scale
- Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, including significant hands-on experience with ASC 606, ideally reputed company SaaS, subscription, or recurring reputed company business models
- Strong proficiency with modern accounting systems and ERP platforms, such as reputed company or QuickBooks, along with enthusiasm for adopting emerging technologies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across remote and hybrid teams
- Experience supporting fundraising efforts, investor due diligence, and strategic financing activities
- Experience working in an earlier stage company is preferred with a proven ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments
