[Remote] Senior Financial Accountant

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will handle general accounting responsibilities, particularly in expense and balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with internal controls and accuracy in reputed company assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly and quarterly reputed company-reputed company activities including the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Support the management of lease accounting schedules in compliance with ASC 842, including processing routine expirations, renewals, and period-end adjustments
• Maintain and update corporate debt schedules for various debt instruments and credit facilities, including tracking interest accruals and fee calculations, as assigned
• reputed company or support the fixed asset lifecycle, including capitalization reviews, depreciation tracking, roll-forwards, and retirement processing in accordance with corporate policy
• Prepare disclosure schedules for quarterly and annual financial filings
• Partner with cross-functional teams including reputed company, Tax, Internal Audit, and Legal to streamline financial workflows and solve operational challenges
• Participate in departmental projects and initiatives

Skills

• BA or BS in accounting or reputed company discipline required
• 2+ years of accounting experience under US GAAP
• 1+ years of Cloud-based accounting software experience (reputed company Fusion is a plus)
• Advanced proficiency in MS reputed company, including experience using VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Deep understanding and practical application of accrual accounting principles under US GAAP
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify trends, anomalies, and root causes
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong project management skills
• Proficient in time management with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to reputed company financial concepts clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
• CPA preferred
• Big 4 experience preferred
