[Remote] Analyst – Category & Commercial Analytics

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Verde Farms is a fast-growing, mission-driven food company redefining the beef industry. They are seeking a data-driven Analyst to join their team, responsible for translating data into actionable insights that drive category growth and support cross-functional teams in decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Translate syndicated (IRI/reputed company, reputed company) and internal data into actionable insights that drive category growth, assortment strategy, pricing, and promotional effectiveness
• reputed company clear, compelling, and insight-led sales narratives that strengthen retailer conversations and support high-impact customer presentations
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to support line reviews, customer strategy development, and go-to-market execution
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams (Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Production), using data to inform key business decisions and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
• Support the S&OP process through demand forecasting, performance tracking, and trend analysis to improve forecast accuracy and alignment
• Support the CEO with various reputed company analysis projects for both customers and investors
• Evaluate trade spending and promotional performance, delivering ROI insights and recommendations to optimize investment decisions
• Design and maintain dashboards, tools, and reporting that enhance visibility in business performance and reputed company faster decision-making
• Manage relationships with external data providers and internal stakeholders to ensure data reputed company, consistency, and best-in-class analytics utilization
• Track and improve core business KPIs, including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, fill rates, margin performance, and promotional ROI

Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in analytics, category management, or insights reputed company CPG, retail, or a reputed company industry
• Hands-on experience with syndicated data platforms (IRI/reputed company, reputed company) and a strong understanding of how to apply insights to real-world business decisions
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Analytics, Business, Economics, or a reputed company field preferred
• Advanced reputed company skills, including Power Query and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI); ability to build clear, reputed company reporting
• Advanced database skills, including SQL proficiency and Python proficiency
• Strong analytical reputed company with ability to move beyond the data—connecting insights to business implications and recommendations
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with experience building presentations and influencing both internal and external stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Self-starter with a high level of ownership, curiosity, and a bias for action
• Panel data experience preferred (reputed company, IRI Panel, reputed company Panel, etc.)
• Experience working in or supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or S&OP environments strongly preferred
