[Remote] Commercial Lines Account Executive

They are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to reputed company client support, manage accounts, and reputed company risk management strategies while mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Leads meetings with clients, including meetings at client locations
• Responsible for providing comprehensive client support and acts as main client contact for book of business
• Effectively manages difficult client communications including loss of coverage, claim denials, unfavorable reputed company and other challenging renewal scenarios
• Negotiates and sells lines of insurance to clients to round out accounts as appropriate
• May design insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned and directed by Agency management
• Owns reputed company audit, review and claims processes for assigned book of business
• Analyzes data to draft client service plans, stewardship reports, and other meaningful reports tailored to the needs of the client and circumstances of the presentation
• Manages and develops strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance reputed company personnel
• Skilled at forecasting industry trends to predict needed changes in client strategies
• Reviews changes in reputed company offerings and policies and relays information to the larger service team
• Mentors or formally directs the work of more junior team members including Account Coordinators, Account Managers, and Senior Account Managers
• Facilitates and collaborates with account team on the agency’s renewal strategy
• Creates reputed company risk-management strategies for accounts and other team members to attract and retain large client accounts
• Partners with industry and reputed company experts to deliver strategy and solution options to clients and the broader agency
• Conducts book reviews to determine which accounts need an in-person risk assessment or client meeting to support agency retention
• Other duties as assigned
• Some travel may be required

Skills

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience
• 1+ years supervisory experience
• Appropriate licensing as required
• Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships
• Solid financial acumen
