[Remote] Accounts Payable Technician
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is dedicated to the discovery, development, and manufacturing of new drug therapies. The Accounts Payable Technician will coordinate reputed company aspects of payable processing, interact with vendors, and ensure compliance with company policies regarding payments and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Work with Vendors to provide data needed to be given appropriate payment terms and maintain vendor files; respond to vendor inquiries
- Posts payables for budgeting and job cost analysis, after the approver of the payable makes proper categories; prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Review reputed company invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Monitors expenses based on the company travel & expense policy and questions those that seem contrary; maintain historical records by filing documents electronically or in hard copy
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are reputed company company guideline policies
- Print and process checks; Process ACH and other electronic payments; Mail and maintain proper documentation either electronically or in hard copy
- 1099 Maintenance
- Work with site supervisor on various job costing projects
- Cross train as a back up to A/R billing
Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Accounts Payable experience minimum of 2 years
- In-depth knowledge of reputed company Office
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective, skillful communication
- Attention to Detail
- Experience using reputed company is an advantage
