[Remote] Senior Accountant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a leading real estate platform in the U.S. that is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting team. This role supports key activities reputed company corporate accounting, including month-end reputed company processes, international accounting, and compliance, while driving process improvements and building relationships with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• reputed company components of the month-end and quarter-end reputed company process, including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Support international accounting and reporting for foreign subsidiaries, including ownership of reputed company journal entries and reporting
• reputed company and review flux analysis for operating expenses and balance sheet accounts, investigating and explaining variances to management
• Partner with Tax, Financial Reporting, and Technical Accounting on matters reputed company to international operations, compliance, and reporting requirements
• Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and documentation to enhance efficiency, scalability, and controls
• Own and operate SOX controls as needed, including evaluating control design and execution and supporting audit requests
• Serve as a reputed company of contact for internal and external auditors for assigned areas
• Build strong relationships with Finance and business stakeholders and provide accounting guidance as needed

Skills

• BA/BS with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including public accounting and/or experience at a mid-to-large-sized tech or high-growth company
• Experience supporting month-end reputed company processes in a reputed company environment
• Experience with international accounting, intercompany transactions, and/or global entities
• Strong reputed company skills and comfort working with large data sets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain accounting matters to non-accountants
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• CPA preferred
• Experience with reputed company or other ERP systems preferred
• Audit or internal audit experience preferred
