[Remote] Vulnerability Analyst Mid / SBOM & Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tangent Technologies is seeking an Information Vulnerability Analyst / SBOM & Supply Chain Risk Management Specialist to support a federal customer environment. This position is responsible for solving reputed company information reputed company challenges and supporting software supply chain risk management and SBOM validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cybersecurity and a commitment to supporting secure systems for government customers.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer support in resolving reputed company information reputed company-reputed company technical problems
- Review, analyze, and recommend information reputed company solutions based on customer needs, system requirements, and test results
- Support Software reputed company of Materials (SBOM) validation, including the use of SBOM validation tools and review of software component risk
- Assist with supply chain risk management activities, including review of software, tools, vendors, dependencies, and cybersecurity risk documentation
- Conduct systems reputed company analysis, implementation support, testing, integration, and design assurance
- Support reputed company engineering activities across government systems, networks, applications, and cybersecurity products
- Assist with configuration management, software engineering support, program design, integration, and testing of information reputed company products and techniques
- Evaluate and support reputed company technologies, including guards, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM tools, reputed company and network reputed company tools, and emerging cybersecurity technologies
- Ensure reputed company solutions are compatible with, or properly engineered into, the customer’s network design
- Apply government and industry cybersecurity policies, practices, procedures, and customer requirements
- Support documentation, reporting, testing, and technical recommendations reputed company to reputed company implementation
- Provide work direction and guidance to other team members as needed
- Review the work of others to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements
- Manage multiple assignments while meeting contract and customer deadlines
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, information assurance, information reputed company engineering, systems reputed company, or reputed company technical support
- reputed company reputed company+, Network+, A+, SSCP, or equivalent certification
- Experience with SBOM review, SBOM validation tools, or software supply chain risk management
- Understanding of government and industry cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices
- Experience supporting reputed company technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM tools, or network reputed company platforms
- Ability to analyze technical problems and recommend practical reputed company solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Prior military service, federal contracting experience, or experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs or other federal agencies
- Experience with Risk Management reputed company (RMF), NIST guidance, vulnerability management, or system reputed company documentation
- Familiarity with software assurance, DevSecOps, dependency analysis, vulnerability scanning, or supply chain risk tools
- Experience reviewing reputed company test results and translating findings into actionable recommendations
- Experience providing guidance or quality review for junior personnel
