Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. reputed company is a healthcare company seeking a Managing Actuary to provide leadership and direction for their actuarial team. The role involves managing pricing, forecasting, and reserving processes, as well as developing strategic recommendations to support company goals.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for pricing, forecasting, reserving or other actuarial processes including development of key assumptions, as well as evaluation of financial experience and trend drivers

- Manage the development and maintenance of actuarial models to support key business goals and initiatives, such as actual to expected experience reporting, actuarial reserves and accruals, bid pricing/reputed company filings, forecasting, and contracting models
- Own the actuarial processes being managed (i.e., reputed company/bid filings, pricing, forecasting, reserving) reputed company the company and with external vendors for assigned lines of business
- Specific function may require performing baseline analysis on expectations of reputed company changes for future years and work with federal and state agencies to support reputed company filings and other relevant activities
- Specific function may require overseeing development and review of Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) reserve estimates for reputed company reputed company lines of business on a monthly basis

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics or a reputed company field or equivalent years of relevant work experience is required
- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) is required
