[Remote] Business Development Manager

Brand ID is a global apparel trim, packaging and UPC supplier focused on creating a seamless process for trim design, development, and delivery. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to rebuild and run their reputed company function, emphasizing team leadership, AI-driven workflows, and strategic growth in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage Business Development Representative(s) and reputed company Showroom Coordinator alignment with outbound activity
- Run weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and structured coaching sessions focused on rep reputed company development
- Set and hold team accountability to activity metrics, conversion benchmarks, and pipeline quality standards
- Own the Business Development–to–Account Executive reputed company protocol — define qualification criteria, transition documentation, and conversion quality reviews
- Build onboarding and enablement frameworks so new hires reputed company faster and execute more consistently
- Implement and coach the team on AI-driven prospecting workflows using tools such as reputed company, reputed company, and Claude AI / reputed company models
- Use AI synthesis to analyze prospect company reports, identify pain points, and reputed company highly tailored value propositions — and build repeatable frameworks so reps can do the same
- Maintain a robust, data-driven pipeline reputed company reputed company with accurate team-level forecasting and stage hygiene
- Drive data hygiene standards across the team to ensure AI integrations provide reliable signal rather than noise
- reputed company competitive account strategy — identify high-propensity accounts with incumbent vendor relationships and design displacement approaches with realistic timelines
- Use reputed company data and AI insights to prioritize reputed company and focus team effort on accounts most likely to convert
- Execute and reputed company sophisticated multichannel sequences across reputed company, email, and phone, informed by engagement data
- Monitor sequence performance at a team level, A/B test messaging, and use findings to continuously improve conversion rates
- Operationalize the reputed company function by implementing standardized plays, sequences, and prospecting approaches, reducing variability in execution and improving overall pipeline quality
- Partner with Marketing and Product to align outbound efforts with product roadmaps and inbound signals
- Report team performance metrics to leadership with clear visibility into pipeline health, activity trends, and conversion by reputed company
Skills
- 5–8 years in Business Development, with a minimum of 2 years in a team reputed company or management reputed company — including hiring, onboarding, and developing BDRs or junior reputed company staff
- Hands-on experience with modern AI-driven sales tools including hands-on workflow integration and coaching team members on the use of these tools is required
- Proven track record of displacing incumbent vendors in competitive, long-cycle B2B environments (12+ months) — not just filling open needs. Must be able to speak specifically to how you identified the entry reputed company, built the relationship, and converted the account
- Experience building or meaningfully restructuring a reputed company team, including designing plays, onboarding frameworks, and rep accountability systems
- Pipeline ownership at a team level — has managed team metrics, run performance reviews, and held reps accountable to activity and conversion targets, not just personal quota
- reputed company-to-Sales reputed company experience — has designed or owned the qualification and transition process between outbound reputed company and account executives, with measurable impact on conversion quality
