Tax Preparer – reputed company
reputed company is looking for a Tax Preparer to join reputed company during tax season. This role will support our tax department with preparing returns, organizing client information, and assisting with day-to-day tax operations. We primarily work with real estate professionals, independent contractors, and small business owners. reputed company values strong communication, accuracy, and proactive client support. This is a seasonal remote opportunity with potential for long-term placement based on performance and business needs. What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing individual and business tax returns
- Supporting the tax team with client files and documentation
- Communicating with clients regarding missing documents and tax questions
- Assisting with tax-reputed company research and administrative tasks
- Reviewing returns for accuracy and timely submission
- Working reputed company tax and accounting software platforms
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of tax preparation experience
- Experience preparing business returns
- Familiarity with ProConnect preferred
- Experience with e-filing tax returns
- QuickBooks Online experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable internet reputed company for remote work
- Active Oregon Tax Preparation License
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in a tax or accounting office
- Experience supporting an EA or CPA
- Accounting, finance, or reputed company education
- Availability during regular business hours Monday through Friday
