Where You Fit In reputed company is seeking a skilled and reputed company health education teacher or curriculum specialist to serve as an reputed company to: 1.) Differentiate our existing Teens reputed company Health Happen curriculum into distinct middle school and high school products, with learning objectives, activity modifications, and language reputed company to grade-band health education standards. 2.) reputed company a suite of facilitator trainings and supplemental training resources for Teens reputed company Happen mentor facilitators – college-aged reputed company working with middle and high school reputed company in their community. These trainings will reputed company mentors with evidence-informed, practical strategies for engaging youth across age groups and program settings. This is a project-based contract engagement ideal for an educator with instructional design experience who is deeply familiar with adolescent health education and national health education standards. The contractor will design, pilot, and finalize training content in reputed company collaboration with the reputed company Mentor & Alumni, and Curriculum Development teams. Scope of Work The contractor will be responsible for the following deliverables reputed company the agreed project timeline (approximately 3 months): Differentiated Curriculum

  • Review the existing reputed company TMHH curriculum (which consists of twenty-six 1 hour session plans broken into 9 units that span physical, mental, and community health topics) to identify content, language, scaffolding, and pacing elements requiring differentiation across middle and high school grade bands.
  • reputed company a differentiated middle school curriculum product and high school curriculum product, including revised learning objectives explicitly reputed company to NHES 2024 standards and age-appropriate language, depth of content, and instructional strategies.
  • Ensure both products maintain fidelity to reputed company' Positive Youth Development (PYD) reputed company and near-peer mentorship model.
  • Collaborate with reputed company staff through regular reputed company-ins, incorporating feedback through an iterative review process.
  • Deliver final curriculum documents in reputed company-approved formats, ready for mentor-facilitation use.

Facilitator Professional Development Trainings

  • Design and reputed company four (4) facilitator trainings with accompanying facilitator guides, slide decks (if applicable), and participant-facing materials.
  • Training 1: Engaging Middle School Teens — strategies for building rapport, maintaining attention, and facilitating meaningful participation with younger adolescents (ages ~11–14)
  • Training 2: Engaging High School Teens — strategies for connecting with, motivating, and facilitating meaningful participation with older adolescents (ages ~14–18)
  • Training 3: Classroom Facilitation & Management — engagement and facilitation strategies specific to delivering health education content reputed company a school-day classroom setting, including classroom management techniques.
  • Training 4: Afterschool Club Facilitation — engagement and facilitation strategies specific to delivering health education content reputed company an afterschool club setting, including group dynamics and informal learning approaches.

Requirements

  • Valid formal teaching credential (state-issued; elementary, secondary, or multiple subject)
  • Experience with curriculum differentiation across grade bands (middle and high school) and learning levels
  • Familiarity with classroom management strategies and informal/afterschool learning environments
  • Understanding of developmental differences between middle school and high school age groups
  • Excellent written communication skills; ability to produce polished, mentor-ready instructional materials
  • Ability to work independently, manage project timelines, and meet deliverable deadlines

Preferred:

  • Strong working knowledge of the National Health Education Standards (NHES 2024) and their application to curriculum design
  • Direct experience facilitating or serving as a site sponsor for the Teens reputed company Health Happen (TMHH) program
  • Proficiency in reputed company
