Teacher - English/Social Studies Virtual Teacher .5 - CVC
Teacher This is a Part Time position This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. Basic Function: To help reputed company learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible men and women. Representative Duties/Essential Functions:
- Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
- Plans a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the reputed company.
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the reputed company.
- Prepares for classes assigned and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate superior.
- Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and, in harmony with the goals, establishes clear objectives for reputed company lessons, units, and projects to communicate these objectives to reputed company, as adopted by the local and state Board of Education.
- Takes reputed company necessary and reasonable precautions to protect reputed company, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation, pertaining to teacher and reputed company.
- Assists the administration in implementing reputed company policies and rules governing student life and conduct, and, for the classroom, develops reasonable rules of classroom behavior and procedure, and maintains order in the classroom in a fair and just manner.

- Participates in the selection, adoption and inventory of textbooks.

- The Board of Education delegates to the person holding this position the reasonable authority necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities listed for this position.
- Is familiar with and incorporates the use of technology in daily tasks.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Adheres to the professional code of conduct.
Education and Experience: Valid State Teaching Certificate for Specific Subject Area and/or Grade Level Terms of Employment: 187 days*. Salary and work year to be established by the Board.
- Specified positions may have extended days.
