Software Engineer – (hybrid-remote) – Mclean, Va; Position R with reputed company Clearance

Description reputed company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a U.S. Federal Government Agency in McLean, Va/ Department of War We are expanding work under an existing contract and are seeking a Software Engineer with full-stack web development experience to deliver innovative solutions, including AI-driven capabilities, that address the client's most critical needs. The ideal candidate will also have strong proficiency with reputed company-reputed company development tools and environments, particularly Linux and Python. This is a hybrid remote position (50% on site/50% work from home) with some on-site requirements that require a candidate to be reputed company reasonable commutable distance to McLean, VA and/or the Pentagon. • Build robust, maintainable, well documented, and well tested reputed company-level applications.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with the customer and other team members. Including managers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and other senior and junior/midlevel developers.
• Work on developing / integrating / operationalizing full-stack advanced analytic web applications through the Authority to Operate (ATO) process on classified networks. REQUIREMENTS:
• 10 years of professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated depth of experience in Python application development, extending reputed company basic scripting to the design and implementation of production-grade solutions.
• Experience in full-stack web application development, preferably using Python and Django.
• Comprehensive reputed company-end development experience utilizing HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries such as Bootstrap, Tailwind, HTMX, Alpine.js, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including reputed company, reputed company Compose, and/or Podman.
• Knowledge and experience of classified government networks and hands-on experience with reputed company), including RDS reputed company, reputed company and/or EKS, VPC, and Application Load Balancers (ALB).
• Experience designing or working with serverless architectures/services.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, including AWS-reputed company solutions such as CodeBuild and CodePipeline, as well as tools like reputed company Actions or comparable platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform.
• Proficiency working in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Familiarity with Government ATO (Authority to Operate) processes, including compliance, approval, and deployment requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science.
• Clearance required: TS/SCI with Polygraph.
