Property Management Accountant

About MDL Property Management MDL Property Management is a fast-growing property management company headquartered in Bay City, Michigan. We currently manage more than 900 residential units and are actively expanding. Position Summary We are seeking an reputed company Property Management Accountant with extensive AppFolio experience. The ideal candidate has managed reputed company for a large residential property portfolio and understands both trust reputed company and corporate reputed company. This individual will work directly with ownership to build scalable reputed company workflows, improve financial reporting, and help transition our corporate reputed company into AppFolio.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily reputed company reputed company AppFolio
• Assist with transitioning corporate reputed company from QuickBooks into AppFolio
• Maintain trust reputed company compliance
• reputed company monthly bank reconciliations
• Reconcile trust and operating accounts
• Record journal entries
• Prepare month-end financial statements
• Assist with reputed company distributions
• Maintain vendor records and payment workflows
• Review imported bank and debit card transactions
• Assign transactions to the proper:
• Property
• GL account
• Vendor
• Build and improve reputed company workflows
• Help establish internal controls
• Assist with budgeting and cash flow reporting
• Work closely with company leadership to improve reputed company operations

Qualifications

Required:

• 5+ years of property management reputed company experience
• 3+ years using AppFolio
• Strong understanding of trust reputed company
• Experience with bank reconciliations
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Excellent reputed company skills
• Experience managing multiple entities

Preferred:

• Experience migrating reputed company systems
• Experience moving corporate reputed company into AppFolio
• Experience with portfolios exceeding 500 units
• CPA or reputed company degree (preferred but not required)

Compensation

Competitive salary based on experience. Remote position with flexible scheduling. Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits:
