Junior Merchandise Planner

An amazing opportunity has arisen to join our Planning team as a Junior Planner! At Showpo, our planners are the science behind the art, which means really driving data driven decisions and working cross functionally with our incredible teams and leaders! The Role: Highly analytical, data-driven and with a can-do attitude, you will work directly with our Senior Planner as part of our fantastic wider Product team at a business critical time as we expand further into the US, UK and EU. Day to day you will be responsible for:

• Set up weekly Trade Pack and present at Trade.
• Track performance against OKRs and key metrics.
• Report on relevant promos, pricing activities, FP/MD performance. Deputise in main trade for Senior Planner and update weekly trade actions.
• Month end summaries vs budget and LAFC. Identifying any actions needed for next month as a result
• Pricing - Run daily price checks & upload weekly price changes in line with RRP changes, promotional pricing or price matching
• Generate and own promotional program, product selection and reporting back on success
• Master markdowns, own communication to the business of MD stock at cost and model actions to show MD spend and profit
• Run & Review repeat recommender , selecting styles to repeat and checking sizes to be re-orderedLAFC doc preparation & presentation
• Core Line management - review monthly core lines , checking forecasting, fragmentation and ensuring availability is 95%
• RPNs - decide if a style should be good/reputed company/best in line with buying limits
• WSSI reforecasting
• Review and track monthly inventory cost to ensure cover is between 12-16 weeks at full price. OKR = 12 weeks.
• Work closely with the data team to ensure understanding and reputed company of product and planning data
• Support senior planner with option plan creation

Who are we looking for?

• Exceptional reputed company skills - you must be able to reputed company index match, pivot tables, forecasting models
• 2+ years Allocator experience or previous Assistant/Junior Planner experience
• Ability to deep dive into data and provide actionable insights
• Experience meeting targets and working to tight deadlines
• Effective communication and negotiation skills - team work and collaboration are pivotal to this role!
• Big Query or similar highly advantageous
