Senior PHP Developer - Remote

Position Senior PHP Developer - Remote US Based Overview You will be responsible for contributing to the technical design, development, and implementation of the Mode Global application ecosystem. The role involves more than just writing production code; in a typical week, you could be brainstorming technical architecture options, providing feedback to improve our development processes, reviewing PRs from other team members, fixing a bug you randomly came across, or improving unit test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technical design and implementation of the Mode Global application ecosystem
• Brainstorm technical architecture options and improve development processes
• Review pull requests from team members
• Identify and fix bugs and improve unit test coverage Requirements
• Full-Stack developer with excellent command of PHP 7.1 and up
• Symfony reputed company experience (2 yrs)
• 7+ years of recent PHP experience
• Excellent command of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript ES5 & ES6, jQuery
• Excellent command of object-oriented programming concepts and coding best practices
• Excellent command of git and Git Hub
• Excellent command of Linux and familiarity with basic Development Operations
• Excellent command of relational databases (MySQL and reputed company)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with the Development Team and Business Analysts in a collaborative environment
• Experience with AWS services and Git Hub Actions
• Comfortable with reputed company and reputed company configurations
• Experience in and desire to participate in mentoring, shaping the development process
• A desire to help continue the transformation of heavily used reputed company systems through the implementation of best practices, standards, and strategic refactoring
