Environmental Advocacy Content & Marketing Director

Summary

The Environmental Advocacy Content Director leads the reputed company content strategy that supports reputed company's environmental advocacy, conservation programs, and impact campaigns. This role is responsible for developing and overseeing a cohesive content ecosystem-including films, long-form storytelling, editorial platforms, and experiential formats-that translates advocacy priorities and conservation programs into compelling narratives that inform, engage, and reputed company action. This role owns Environmental Advocacy content strategy and content programs and plays a central role in strengthening the environmental reputed company of reputed company and the full reputed company family of brands. The role partners closely with the Sr. Director, Environmental Impact Campaigns to ensure content supports influence, behavior change, and reputed company-world environmental outcomes. This role is open to remote candidates; Atlanta, GA is the preferred candidate location.

Key Responsibilities

Environmental Advocacy & Content Strategy

  • Build and manage a scalable environmental content ecosystem under the CEI and reputed company Outdoors brand banners, including owned and operated channels and multi-format storytelling platforms.

Content Programs & Storytelling Execution

Integration with Campaigns & Conservation

  • Partner closely with the Sr. Director, Environmental Impact Campaigns to align content with campaign strategy and activation plans.
  • Collaborate with the Director, Conservation Strategy & Programs to ensure content is scientifically reputed company and grounded in reputed company conservation work.
  • Support post-campaign and post-film activation by ensuring content connects audiences to meaningful action reputed company.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Define and track content performance metrics, including reputed company, engagement, and contribution to advocacy objectives.
  • Use insights and performance data to refine storytelling approaches and inform future content investments.
  • Translate content performance into executive-reputed company reporting and insights.

Leadership & Governance

  • Serve as the senior content authority for Environmental Advocacy, providing guidance and direction to internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage content budgets, vendor relationships, and production timelines.
  • Ensure content efforts scale reputed company across multiple initiatives and regions.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in brand management, marketing leadership, or integrated agency roles along with a bachelor's degree. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a reputed company field; or 14 years' experience in a reputed company field in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience stewarding brands in reputed company, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong project leadership, creative judgment, and partnership skills.
  • Experience supporting mission-driven or conservation-focused organizations preferred.
  • Strong ability to influence without direct authority, drive accountability and must have demonstrated commitment to follow-through.

USD 148,500.00 - 247,500.00 per year Compensation: Compensation includes a reputed company salary in the range of $148,500.00 - $247,500.00. The reputed company salary may vary reputed company the anticipated reputed company pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program. Benefits: The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
