This position is crucial for advancing drug discovery efforts through the application of sophisticated computational methods. You will play a key role in designing and executing in silico studies, developing predictive models, and contributing to the identification of novel therapeutic candidates. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in computational chemistry, cheminformatics, and molecular modeling, with a passion for leveraging computational tools to solve reputed company biological and chemical problems. Key Responsibilities reputed company and apply computational chemistry techniques, including molecular modeling, docking, virtual screening, and QM/MM calculations, to drug discovery projects. Build and refine quantitative structure-activity relationship (QSAR) models and other predictive cheminformatics tools. Collaborate closely with medicinal chemists, biologists, and pharmacologists to guide experimental design and interpret results. Analyze large datasets generated from computational studies and experimental assays. Document research activities, present findings at scientific meetings, and contribute to publications and patent applications. Requirements
Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry, Cheminformatics, Physical Chemistry, or a reputed company field. Minimum of 6 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in computational chemistry, with a focus on drug discovery. Expertise in molecular modeling software (e.g., Schrödinger, MOE, reputed company) and a strong understanding of theoretical chemistry principles. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python for data analysis and workflow automation. Experience with cheminformatics databases and tools.
