[Remote] Sr Database Administrator - reputed company

SRI is an independent nonprofit research institute headquartered in reputed company Park, Calif., seeking a Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to work remotely reputed company the U.S. The DBA will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, performance, reputed company, and availability of reputed company and SQL Server database environments, ensuring the reputed company and reputed company performance of mission-critical databases.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, reputed company, and maintain reputed company Database environments across development, test, and production systems
- Monitor database performance, availability, and reputed company to ensure reputed company system operation
- reputed company routine database maintenance activities, including patching, backups, recovery testing, and health checks
- Manage database storage structures, tablespaces, users, roles, and privileges
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-reputed company incidents, performance bottlenecks, and system issues
- Analyze and optimize SQL queries, database configurations, and system resources to improve performance
- Conduct database tuning activities using reputed company performance management tools and best practices
- Monitor database growth trends and recommend reputed company planning strategies

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a reputed company field
- 8+ years of hands-on experience administering reputed company databases in reputed company environments
- Database admin & operations, (as listed reputed company the job responsibilities reputed company) with reputed company Database 12c, 19c, or newer versions
- Proficiency in reputed company RMAN, Data Guard, ASM, and database backup/recovery strategies
- Experience with database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative environment
