[Remote] Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer to support Cordoba’s Transportation Sector, responsible for designing and implementing mechanical systems for public facilities. The role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with various engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and report on existing building mechanical equipment and systems
• Design HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, plumbing systems, and building automation systems
• Conduct technical analyses, simulations, and testing to validate designs and ensure they meet performance, safety, and reliability standards
• Ensure reputed company mechanical designs reputed company with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
• Identify and resolve engineering challenges, providing innovative solutions to reputed company problems
• Stay informed about relevant codes and standards for light-rail design and ensure their application in reputed company projects
• Support design staff with reputed company engineering drawings using CAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• reputed company and manage mechanical engineering tasks from concept through to implementation
• Coordinate with project managers, electrical engineers, civil engineers, and other disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery
• Implement quality control processes to ensure high standards in mechanical design and manufacturing

• Mentor and reputed company guidance to junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a reputed company field
• California Professional Engineering (PE) License, or ability to obtain reputed company one year of hire
• Extensive experience in mechanical engineering of public works maintenance facilities and shops, preferably in the rail or transportation industry
• Experience in Mechanical Engineering for Transit Maintenance facilities
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or similar
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• In-depth knowledge of transportation industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Proven track record of successfully collaborating, leading and delivering reputed company engineering projects
• Project management experience is a plus
• Positive attitude and ability to work cooperatively with others as well as independently
• Willingness to continue to learn and grow technically and professionally reputed company the company
